We are pleased to announce the availability of an online reference grammar of the Hawaiian language, developed to aid students learning the language as well as instructors and researchers.
We ourselves are students of the language at various levels, at both the University of Hawaii Maui College and Mānoa. The creation of the reference grammar was motivated by our desire to consolidate multiple sources of information into a single, online, and searchable document . The information contained in the reference grammar includes that which we were exposed to in years 1-4 of nā papa ʻōlelo Hawaiʻi, as well as research and consultation with previous publications.
